3 months

Xavier,

Time sure flies when you're having fun! This month has come and gone so quickly! You are growing by leaps and bounds and learning so many new things. It's been so fun to watch you explore your world! You are smiling and babbling all the time and are still the most well behaved baby. We love you so much.

You're new favorite thing to do is to practice standing up. It makes you so happy and you love to look around. You smile every time we hold you up. Your head control is getting better and better every day also and when we hold you in our arms you like to sit up and watch what is going on.

We got you a bouncer because you love to stand up so much. You are a little too small still for it but papa solved that problem by putting some of his old college textbooks underneath so you can get your footing. You really love to hop around and love the musical frog that we attached to the side. You always like to look at it.

You still love to play in your monkey gym. Instead of just hitting the toys, you can really grab them and pull on them now. You've got a pretty strong grip!

You love the Mr. Duck that mom's Aunt Paula sent you. You smile every time you hear the song he plays.

This month mom had to leave you for two days to go to Atlanta for one of her best friend's weddings. She thought about you all the time but you were home having a blast with papa. He took lots of photos of you on his iphone because mom took the camera with her.

Halloween is coming this weekend and you can't wait to rock your cool costume and find out what this trick-or-treat business is all about! We went to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin and you enjoyed looking and feeling all the different pumpkins.

You are still always in the best mood when you wake up and smile so much. You are talking so much more now and say "a-goo" all the time. You do have a "b" and "er" sound too. It's so fun to hear you try to mimic us when we talk to you. Papa keep trying to have you say Urlacher : ). You are also able to roll over onto your sides now but not all the way onto your back yet. You enjoy napping like that sometimes. You also try to hold your bottle now which can be successful sometimes and just get in the way other times.
